Li Guibai (1931.9-), one of the founders of high turbidity water treatment technology in China. In the field of iron and manganese removal from groundwater, a new process of high efficiency contact catalytic iron and manganese removal has been developed, which makes the technology of iron and manganese removal from groundwater in China enter the advanced ranks in the world. The automatic control technology of single factor flocculation for high turbidity water transmission pulsation is in the leading position in the world. The concept of the third generation of urban drinking water purification process was proposed, and the use of ultrafiltration membrane in urban water plants was advocated, which promoted the development of water treatment technology in China.
